All Howard Stern needs is an English accent, a haircut and a pair of high-waisted trousers.

And it seems the shock jock is a serious contender for the American Idol hotseat.

Following rumours he’s in the running, Sterm confirms, “There’s not a better job on the planet than judging that f**ing karaoke contest. It might be possible, we’ll see. They’d have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough.”

And Stern promises he will be even more frank with the wannabe pop stars than Cowell: “I’d say, ‘Go work out!’ I’m going to be frank with these people and say, ‘You’re fat! How many fat pop stars do you see?’ I’m gonna wear a badge on my chest and say there’s a whole new sheriff in town.”

A pair of lusty Motley Crue fans were thrown out of a gig in Winnipeg, Canada last week — for having sex in the audience!

The couple kept the x-rated show going for an impressive four songs, until the anonymous lothario dropped his trousers, prompting prompting security guards to boot them out.

Thankfully most saw the funny side of the impromptu support act — one fan told a Winnipeg newspaper, “It looked like a stripper show or something, but it wasn’t really all that bad.”

Courteney Cox and David Arquette are considering adopting a second child because they’re too tired to have sex!

Cox  underwent in-vitro fertilisation to conceive five year old daughter Coco.

The couple are ready for a second kid — but can’t face the endless IVF sessions and bedroom action necessary to conceive.

He says, “It takes a lot for us to do it (have a baby), so maybe adoption. Listen, I like practising as much as possible! But it’s hard… I’m exhausted!”

Are Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer ever apart?

The True Blood lovers were — as always — attached at the hip during a trip to the gym in LA at the weekend.

They didn’t even mind being papped in their sweaty gym clothes.

They may be sickeningly loved-up, but don’t expect wedding bells anytime soon.

The couple have just started shooting season three of the vampire drama — and don’t have the time to plan weddings.

Moyer says, “We’re doing nights on season three now. I have trouble planning anything more than brunch with my friends. But when the time’s right, we’ll do it.”
