Jennifer Hudson’s Independence Day spectacular in Boston, Massachusetts was cut short by bad weather on Wednesday.
The Oscar-winning singer had to sit out a second performance with the Boston Pops orchestra due to a storm threat close to the annual Charles River Esplanade event.
CBSBoston.com reported that more than 500,000 concertgoers were told to leave the area until the storm passed.
Hudson did not return to the stage for the fireworks finale after the audience members were given the all-clear.
