Miley Cyrus received a marriage proposal from Liam Hemsworth just minutes after she finished recording a live version of his favorite song.
The singer/actress has revealed the Australian actor popped the question shortly after she recorded one of her Backyard Sessions videos over the summer, duringwhich she performed live covers of famous songs.
Cyrus admits she sang Hemsworth’s favorite track, Lilac Wine, while he looked on, and just 20 minutes later, he asked her to be his wife.
She tells TV host Jay Leno, “He asked me to marry him, like, 20 minutes later. So while I was singing that, I had no idea… (but I did think) he was looking at me funny (while I was singing).”
