British actor Sam Claflin is joining Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games sequel after landing the role of Finnick Odair.
The Snow White and the Huntsman star will fight side-by-side with Lawrence as heroine Katniss Everdeen in the forthcoming Catching Fire movie, which is due to begin production later this year.
Claflin is the latest addition to the highly-anticipated action adventure, adapted from the trilogy written by Suzanne Collins – Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amanda Plummer will also feature in the next big screen installment.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be directed by Francis Lawrence and is expected in theatres in November, 2013.
