Wolverine comes clean about doll fear

Hugh Jackman of X-Men fame recently came clean about his fear of dolls that come to life on the big screen.
The actor claims that seeing the Child’s Play series of films as a youngster contributed to the phobia.
“When dolls come to life in films, that just freaks me out, I just can’t stand that. Chucky? Forget that. I remember when I was a little kid, and that little doll in the rocking chair going, ‘Take the girl right up the hill and kiss the girl goodbye’ — I’m like, forget that! That freaks me out.”
It’s not like it’s such a revelation; those films are supposed to be scary. There is definitely something inherently creepy about the idea of a doll coming to life, but we didn’t expect such a masculine presence as Jackman (seen here at last week’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine screening at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater) to easily get the willies from that sort of thing.
