While David Arquette was sweltering in plastic box in New York yesterday, WENN found his wife Courteney Cox 3,000 miles away enjoying a night out at Los Angeles restaurant Nobu.

But the pair will be reunited soon — on the set of Scream 4, after both agreed to reprise their roles in the horror franchise that brought them together back in 1996.

And Arquette can’t wait — as he told WENN.COM exclusively from his plexiglass hideaway:

“I’m so looking forward to it. I get to work with my wife again, which I love. Of course we met on the first Scream movie. I think Wes Craven is going to be directing it and Kevin Williamson, who wrote the first films, is writing it, so I’m really excited.”
