David Beckham and Landon Donovan are BFFs again, judging by these pictures from Becks’ first game back with the LA Galaxy last night.

In case you missed their schoolyard-style scrap… Donovan criticised Beckham in a new book, calling him unprofessional and slamming him for inviting teammates (who earn a lot less than him) to a restaurant and not picking up the bill.

After a week of bickering, the pair were reunited on the field in New York and showed bygones are bygones by holding hands and hugging and engaging in all the standard forms of male bonding associated with soccer. 

But it seems Galaxy’s fans aren’t quite over Beckham’s decision to gallivant off and play for A.C. Milan for half of the season — he was booed for much of last night’s 3-1 win over Red Bull New York.
