Soul singer TONI BRAXTON has reportedly split from her husband KERI LEWIS after eight years of marriage.

The couple has two children, seven year old Denim and Diezel, six.

The split news, reported by Essence.com, comes as the Unbreak My Heart singer faces the prospect of losing her home after she allegedly defaulted on her mortgage payments.

The singer owes more than $12,500 (£7,800) on her mansion in Century City, California and officials at the Bank of America are now looking to foreclose on the property, according to TMZ.com.

The news comes just a week after it was revealed that Braxton is facing a lawsuit from bosses at another financial institution, the City National Bank (CNB), who claim the star owes them $900,000 (£600,000) in loan payments.

Braxton has been facing financial difficulties ever since she scrapped a series of Las Vegas concerts in 2008 after she was hospitalised with a heart problem. She is currently embroiled in a legal battle with her insurance company, after the firm refused to pay out on the axed shows.

BEYONCE was a true triple threat at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin, Germany on Thursday night (05Nov09) – she picked up three prizes and led the honours haul.

The R&B superstar claimed trophies for Best Female, Best Song (Halo) and Best Video (Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).

She paid tribute to her husband Jay-Z, who was also a big winner in the Best Urban Act category, when she won the Best Video award, thanking him for “putting a ring on it”.

And, unlike at the MTV Video Music Awards in America in September (09), there was no protest from Kanye West to taint her victory – the rapper stormed the stage at the VMAs, insisting Taylor Swift’s Best Female Video should have gone to Beyonce.

Green Day were also big winners at the EMAs, scoring the night’s Best Rock Act award, while U2 topped off a magical evening by claiming the ceremony’s first prize as Best Live Act.

The Irish rockers also performed a six-song mini-gig in front of 10,000 fans at the German capital’s iconic Brandenburg Gate, marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Other big winners on the night were German rockers Tokio Hotel, Lady GaGa and Eminem, who beat Jay-Z and Kanye West to claim the Best Male trophy.

Beyonce and Jay-Z provided rousing performances, as did Shakira, Leona Lewis and Tokio Hotel. Katy Perry thrilled the crowd during her second stint as host at the MTV EMAs, changing outfits a staggering 12 times and paying homage to Liza Minnelli in German-based wartime movie classic Cabaret with a raunchy, speakeasy-style medley of tracks by Lady GaGa, Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas and David Guetta.

WENN was invited onto the New York City set of Steve Guttenberg’s new movie today, where he revealed he’ll be reuniting with Tom Selleck and Ted Danson to give away baby Mary.

Guttenberg told us, “Disney’s developing Three Men and a Bride. That’s going to be a smash. A smash hit. They’re bringing everybody back for that.

“Nobody knows about it. I’m the first to talk about it.”

After we’d picked ourselves off the floor, Steve decked us again by revealing he wants to bring back Police Academy, Cocoon – and to star in the mooted Short Circuit sequel.

“It’s definitely time for another Police Academy. And I think they could make another Cocoon.

“They’re surefire hits and I think they’re good for the world. They make the world a better place and that’s what it’s all about.”

Stop teasing us Steve — and go out there and bring us this 80s extravaganza.

STEVE MARTIN and ALEC BALDWIN will co-host the 2010 Oscars.

Funnyman Martin won an Emmy Award nomination for hosting the 73rd Academy Awards and returned to take charge of the 75th event, but Baldwin has never fronted the big show.

Making the announcement on Tuesday (03Nov09), new Oscar telecast producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman stated, "We think the team of Steve and Alec are the perfect pair of hosts for the Oscars.

"Steve will bring the experience of having hosted the show in the past and Alec will be a completely fresh personality for this event."

Martin jokes, "I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin," while The Cooler star Baldwin added, "I’m thrilled to be hosting the Oscars. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime."

Baldwin was nominated for an Academy Award in 2003 for his supporting role in The Cooler. That year also marked his most recent appearance as a presenter on the show.

The Oscars will be presented on 7 March (10) at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

This year's (09) big show was hosted by Aussie star Hugh Jackman.

Colin Farrell’’s a dad again – his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda has given birth to the couple’s first child.

Bachleda delivered baby boy Henry Teusz Farrell on 7 October, reports Access Hollywood.

The couple met on the set of new movie Ondine earlier this year, but managed to keep its romance under wraps until last month (Sep09) when Farrell announced the 26-year-old Polish actress was pregnant.

Farrell, 33, has a six-year-old son, James Padraig Farrell, with his ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave.
