Caine you believe it

Boxer David Haye may have knocked out a 7 foot tall Russian at the weekend to claim the WBA World Heavyweight belt… but we’d still fancy movie hardman Michael Caine to give him a run for his money.
The pair bumped into each other at the London premiere of Caine’s new movie Harry Brown last night…
And Sir Mike looked up to the challenge of 12 rounds.

Andre’s A-ghastly past

We’re too scared to read Andre Agassi’s autobiography Open.
He’s already told us his hair was never real, he took crystal meth and deliberately threw tennis matches.
What next?
He really retired in the mid-90s after the U.S. government built a robot clone to compete in his place?

God Save My Gran

Prince Harry’s rousing rendition of God Save the Queen wasn’t enough to inspire England to victory in the rugby on Saturday — they tumbled to a 18-9 defeat to Australia.
Perhaps Harry should take a leaf out of Jay-Z’s book and come up with a rap anthem to whip the crowd into a frenzy…
It worked for the Yankees!

Is it a bird, is it a plane? No it’s Jay-Z

Ok, so there are either two Jay-Z’s or the guy is superhuman.
Just hours after we spotted the hip hop hero partying in Berlin after the MTV EMAs…. he’s back in New York frolicking on A-Rod’s float during the Yankees’ World Series’ victory parade.
And to top it off, he performed Empire State of Mind — the unofficial Yankees anthem — at the end.
Three performances in three countries in three days. How does he do it?
Yankees win it… without Jay-Z

What kind of Yankees fan are you Jay-Z?
After setting his team off on a World Series winning streak by performing Empire State of Mind at Yankee Stadium last week we though he’d be in the crowd to watch them bring the trophy home to the Bronx last night?
Instead Jay was 3,000 miles away performing in London — while fans had to settle for Donald Trump, Spike Lee and Kurt Russell as their celebrity backing.
It was enough though and the Yankees beat the Phillies 7-3 to secure a 4-2 series victory – their first since 2000.
For Jay-Z, it’s onto Berlin at the MTV EMAS tonight… will he make it back in time for the parade?
