Rapper T-Pain was the surprise star of the Country Music Television awards on Wednesday, thanks to this impressive display of bling — and a bizarre duet with Taylor Swift.

The country princess joined Pain onstage as her alter ego T-Swizzle and rapped along to Thug Story — a take on her hit Love Story

And it was Swift who stole the show by walking off with two awards, including Best Video for her single Love Story.

Jennifer Aniston is looking for love — and she’s not afraid to talk about it.

The Friends star showed off her flowing locks and a science-fiction inspired dress at a Women in Film party in Los Angeles over the weekend.

And she used her time onstage — she was honoured for her role as a woman in film – to raise a few laughs and scout for potential new suitors.

Aniston said, ”I’m trying to be more careful than I have been in the past about the titles of movies that I choose to be in. It’s funny – I kind of noticed something a couple years ago that there seemed to be this strange parallel to the movies I was doing and my life off screen.

“It started with, well, The Good Girl. Then that evolved into Rumour Has It, followed by Derailed, and then there was The Break-Up. And then on the lighter side was Friends with Money, which I felt was a bit on the nose.”

“So if any of you have a project titled Everlasting Love with an Adult, Stable Male… “

It’s great to see Law & Order: SVU Emmy-winner Mariska Hargitay back to health after battling a collapsed lung on and off for months; Hargitay — shown above at Wednesday night’s Gracie Awards in Manhattan — recently confessed that years of doing her own stunts on the crime drama were at least in part to blame for her health problems this year.

From the neck down, yeesh.  Black-and-white is really hot right now, but as hard as it is to make a woman with Hargitay’s nice figure look dumpy, that’s exactly what those ruffles do.  We’re going to have to book her on misdemeanor unflattering.

We weren’t sure Eminem’s angry reaction to Sacha Baron Cohen’s butt was genuine — and sure enough, Cohen (above, on the red carpet at the event) and Eminem scripted and rehearsed the stunt at Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards.

In-person and TV audiences alike were stunned when Cohen, in character as fashionista Bruno and dressed as a giant (pantsless) dove, fell from the roof of the Universal Amphitheater and into Eminem’s lap, burying the “Stan” star’s face in Cohen’s bum.

Eminem was heard “angrily” reacting before “storming” out of the show along with his entourage, and immediately the debate began as to whether it was real or staged.  On Monday, Paris Hilton swore Eminem knew nothing about it in advance, but now MTV’s head writer has confessed that the star was in on it all along — not surprisingly, once you consider that 1) Eminem is staging a carefully crafted comeback behind a new album, which this would help promote; 2) the tush-in-face landing was a little too convenient to have been an accident; and 3) Eminem didn’t “storm” out so much as walk, at a reasonable pace, where there just happened to be cameras.

MTV writer Scott Aukerman has settled the matter on his blog: “Yes, the Eminem-Bruno incident was staged. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show.”

Twilight-throb Robert Pattinson showed off his golden popcorn (no, not a euphemism) last night at MTV’s Movie Awards, which saw Pattz pick up statuettes for Breakthrough Performance, Best Kiss (shared with Kristin Stewart), and Best Fight Scene (with an assist by Cam Gigandet).  Viewers saw the world premiere of the trailer for Twilight sequel New Moon.

The complete list of winners is here, but of course the big story this morning is Eminem’s huffy departure following a too-intimate moment with Sacha Baron Cohen’s buttocks.  (Here’s a better clip of the incident than the one we posted last night.  Still hard to tell if Eminem is in on the gag or not, although it doesn’t make sense that he wasn’t, for a variety of reasons.)
