Britney walks into an Aussie mime-field

Britney Spears has learned a pretty harsh lesson this weekend — Australians don’t like miming.

Britters was already under fire before she’d even landed down under, after politicians found out she planned to lip-synch part of her Circus concert extravaganza.

And when she took to the stage in Perth on Friday, some fans walked out.

Britney is “extremely upset” about the walk-outs.

Luck she has John Mayer on hand with words of comfort:

“If you’re shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you.”

Britney in trouble over miming down under

Britney Spears hasn’t even started her Australian tour yet, and she’s already stirring up controversy.

A politician down under has criticised Britters for miming during her Circus Tour and proposed a new law forcing performers to reveal to fans if they plan to mime.

The terrifyingly-named Fair Trade Minister Virginia Judge says, “Let’s be clear, live means live – if you are spending up to 200 Australian dollars, I think you deserve better than a film clip.”

In Britney’s defence, her tour manager Steve Dixon, responds,”This is a pop spectacular, this is a showband show. You come for the experience.

“There is a lot to see about this show, there’s nothing like this in the world. Britney Spears will entertain you, that’s what people come for. We absolutely give them a show.”

We presume that means she WILL be miming when the tour kicks off in Perth today.

It’s Britney Spears’ lucky week.

We just told you she landed Mother of The Year in a U.K. poll, and now the Toxic tart’s saucy new single 3 has topped the U.S. pop charts.

Fans downloaded the track 255,000 times in the last week, giving Britney her third number one and making her the first act to debut a song at the top of the charts for over three years.

Nice work Brit.

It doesn’t take much to be a ‘top celebrity mum’.

You don’t even need to have custody of your kids.

A ridiculous new poll from U.K. company Park Christmas Saving (who?) has named Britney Spears its top showbiz parent.

Britters is a shining light of inspiration for all parents, according to voters, who placed her above Christina Aguilera and Angelina Jolie.

You don’t even need to be alive to make the top 5 – dead British reality TV contestant Jade Goody finished fourth!

Nonsense.

Now that she has got her life back on track and is finishing up her world tour, Britney Spears finally wants her boys back once and for all!

Apparently she’s scared they are picking up bad habits from their larger-than-life dad Kevin Federline and Brit has had enough. She is seeking full custody.

She wants to turn her cursing, badly behaved, ill-mannered little boys into church-going, polite angel-faced children.
