Pixie Geldof left London’s Bungalow 8 nightclub at about 3:30 AM local time Wednesday morning; our photographers reported that her friends surrounded her and tried to keep snappers from getting Geldof’s picture.

With good reason: Geldof had on a pair of what looked like eight-inch platforms, and as you can see in the pic above, cocktails likely affected her balance a bit too (the Daily Mail reported that Geldof face-planted on her way into the club).

…That was in poor taste, even for us.  On to the actual story, namely that A League of Their Own’s Lori Petty apparently took a collar for felony DUI in Los Angeles on Saturday.

According to TMZ, Petty — pictured above at an Independent Spirit Awards party in February with a glass of what appears to be her frenemy champagne — was arrested after allegedly hitting a skateboarder with her car.  Both Petty and the boarder were treated for minor injuries, though neither was taken to the hospital; Petty posted $100,000 bail and left jail Sunday morning.

Sure, it’s for a good cause — the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps injured servicepeople transition back into civilian life — and we’ve got nothing against the Hoff cozying up to Playmates who’re wearing nothing but body paint…well, okay, we kind of do, because there’s something tawdry about it.  We had to crop that photo tightly, y’all…and isn’t the Hoff in his 50s?  And in a relationship?

Klassiness aside, though, it’s not like they serve lemonade at these things…as you can probably deduce from the Knight Rider star’s glazed expression, after the jump.

We don’t know if it’s the bifocals nestled in the chest hair or the “buhhhhh where’shh my car you guyyysshh?” expression (which could be accidental, for all we know), but the Hoff doesn’t not seem as sober as a judge here.

Scarcely a week after Baywatch’s David Hasselhoff allegedly reported to the hospital with alcohol poisoning and a terrifying blood-alcohol level of .39 — a figure we can’t believe left him alive, and a story he now disputes, claiming ex-wife Pamela Bach disseminated the tale to make him look bad — the Hoff picked up bag lunch at Joan’s on Third on Friday in Santa Monica, with his daughter Hayley.

According to published reports, Hayley kept slapping the senior Hoff’s face to keep him conscious, and may have accompanied her pops to lunch in order to ensure he didn’t nip around the corner to a pub for a quick pint…or 14.

That said, he looks relatively fit here and is his usual tolerant-of-the-paps self, and we like his red Hush Puppies.   We hope he’s okay; we love the Hoff, but: .39!
