Is it just us, or has Guy Ritchie piled on the pounds since his split from Madonna?

… Because there’s just the hint of a second chin in this picture, taken outside the director’s London pub last night.

Perhaps he’s just enjoying the freedom to eat what he wants after being forced to stick to a macriobotic diet with the Material Girl.

Good for you guy!

Madonna gets Into the Groove (sorry!) to plant a tree at the new school she’s building in Malawi.

The Material Girl has returned to the African country where she adopted kids David and Mercy, so they could visit the orphanage they once called home, and she could lay the foundations for the new school, which’ll provide an education for 200 girls when it opens.

It’s even rumoured Mercy will get the chance to meet her dad — who’s still fighting for custody of the toddler — during the visit.

We’d love to be a fly on the wall when that goes down!

He may just be her man for the moment, but Jesus Cruz can take solace in the knowledge  Madonna is monogamous.

The Material Girl insists her toyboy lover shouldn’t feel threatened by her flirty nature:

“I’m not saying I’m not sexy and provocative, but I’m a one-man woman when you get down to it.”

Maybe Madonna was a little hasty ditching Guy Ritchie….

Would the Queen of Pop have kicked him to the curb if she knew he was a mere hop and a skip from the English throne?

So the Material Girl turns to her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes.

She tells Rolling Stone, “My shows, my music, definitely. She’s brutally honest, not just with me, but everyone, about what you’re wearing, who you’re dating, the music you listen to, every choice that you make.

“She wears the same sizes as me now, so she steals my clothes, my shoes, she’s constantly in my closets. And she’s working on the show now. Now, we feel more like friends, and we fight every other minute. A normal mother-daughter relationship, going through puberty.”
