Is this a fashion statement? Or is Madonna’s model boyfriend Jesus Luz trying to convert the Material Girl back to Christianity?

We caught up with Luz at an event in Argentina last night, wearing a “Jesus Loves You” shirt.

The 22 year old must have felt pretty neglected of late, as his older lover occupied her time fighting for custody of Malawian toddler Mercy James.

Maybe this is a sign that Madonna needs more Jesus in her life.

It’s finally dawned on Evan Rachel Wood that dating 40-year-old rock star Marilyn Manson was a bad idea.

After finally calling time on their on-off relationship, the 21-year-old actress insists she’s now done with big age gaps.

Wood tells WENN, “I don’t think it works. I think it’s a bad idea. I think as long as you learn from it — good or bad experience — it’s an experience, and you should take something away from it.”

Paul McCartney was in fine form out and about in London last night.

The ex-Beatle even treated us to a burst of air guitar when our snapper caught him arriving at a book launch party in the British capital.

Macca was accompanied to the bash by his designer daughter Stella, but sources close to the rocker claim his romance with American businesswoman Nancy Shevell is hotting up.

Although McCartney is sworn off marriage after his messy split with Heather Mills – gossips insist he’s smitten with Shevell and has even moved her into his estate in East Sussex, England.

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and model girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova headed to Primrose Hill Pets in London on Friday with Ivanova’s dog in tow.  We’re gratified to see that the hound is not a purse dog.

We are somewhat less gratified to note that Wood is wearing those accursed Uggs again.  He was doing so well!  A rock legend shouldn’t give himself cankles!  It’s just how we feel!

Okay, it’s more like “May-August,” but still: can we now definitively say that Heroes‘ Hayden Panettiere has a type?   The 19-year-old has the rumor mill churning that she’s moved on from ex-boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia, after several sightings of her cozying up to UK TV presenter Steve Jones.  Above, Panettiere and Jones relax in an unincriminating fashion on David Furnish’s yacht in Cannes, but spies also saw the pair at London’s Nobu Berkeley restaurant last week.

When Panettiere and Ventimiglia broke up last year, speculation was that the 12-year age difference hadn’t helped matters (that, or the difficulty in hyphenating the last name, if they got married), but Jones is the same age as Ventimiglia.  (His celeb-dating track record is a bit more eyebrow-raising; the Welshman has been linked to Halle Berry and Pamela Anderson in the past.)

So, it seems that Panettiere likes her an older man, which is fine…if somewhat indicative of some daddy issues, perhaps.
