Ever wondered why Victoria Beckham looks flawless, even when she takes on the smallest of errands? Well, it’s because she sees herself as a character with a wardrobe checklist:

Taking the kids to school, sky high heels? Check
Grocery shopping, huge designer shades? Check

“I’ll try on all my dresses and I’ll pick out a handbag and I’ll put on the shades,” she says. “I instantly turn into this person and it sort of feels like a character… If I go into a supermarket looking like s**t, it affects my work. I am selling an image.”

Everyday is a new opportunity to look her best. Gotta keep that Beckham brand afloat, after all she’s married to a hunk!

Tom Cruise was on hand to watch his best buddy David Beckham in action for the LA Galaxy last night.

The Cruiser was a regular visitor to the Staples Center last season when Becks was the Golden Boy and adored by the Galaxy faithful.

So it must have been a little awkward watching his pal being booed last night, by fans still bitter he abandoned the team for the first half of this season for a spell on loan at A.C. Milan — last night’s opponents, ironically.

Despite contributing to the Galaxy’s two goals in a 2-2 draw, the boos rang out throughout the match, prompting Beckham to snap at the end, when he had to be held back from confronting a group of particularly vociferous fans.

How long before the Beckhams pack up and move on?

Victoria Beckham is heading to the big screen, in the forthcoming Sex and the City Movie sequel — and she’s taking acting lessons so she doesn’t make a fool of herself.

The former Spice was apparently offered a walk-on part in the first film but turned it down because she was too busy (busy? really?).

Now she’s got a free schedule, Vicky’s keen to take movie bosses up on their offer — and she’s begging them to give her a more meaty part in the follow-up.

We’re told, “She really wanted to be in the last movie but wasn’t able to take part because of her commitments with the Spice Girls. This time she’s keen to take part.”

If you’re under any illusion Posh has any chance of being taken seriously as an actress, rent out the Spice Girls Movie… We dare you!
